Included in this lot for your consideration is a Large Smilin’ Sam From Alabam’, Cast Aluminum Coin-Op Peanut Dispenser Face piece, front half only. The Machine was originally made by General Merchandiser INC. Out of Chicago, Illinois in 1931. This Smiling Sam from Alabam The Salted Peanut Man Face/Head is a RARE item to find. I do NOT KNOW if this piece is a Original or Reproduction. Either way it should work if you need it for your peanut machine. I want to repeat, This is just the front half of his face/head. NOT a complete machine. Condition=Vintage Pre-Owned, Structurally The face casting is in Excellent Pre-Owned Condition. The paint has minor even wear. The black appears to have some sort of misted white over spray speckles on a large portion of the top. The Eyes Lips and lettering look like they may have been touched up or repainted at some point in it’s life. The paint is not perfect. The top center of the head has about a 1/4 hole in it, But I assume that’s for the fastener that holds the coin slot. Measurements:H=12 Base W=8? LAST PHOTO=EXAMPLE ONLY, NOT INCLUDED!
