Vintage Northwestern 1 Cent Lighted Gumball Nut Machine WORKING WITH KEY, Intact Original Glass and Coin Tray. This vintage 1-cent lighted vending machine is offered for sale as-is. It shows lots of wear consistent with age and use. Rust, corrosion, scratches, and scuffs can be prominently seen. While the unit works mechanically as it sits, please read the whole description because it will require some reconditioning. The coin turn and vending mechanisms operate exactly as intended. The key is present and somewhat bent from repeated turning. It can be removed when the door is open but it doesn’t quite turn far enough in the cylinder to remove when the door is shut, which could indicate that the door needs some adjustments. The unit includes a light fixture with wires that has NOT been tested. The original glass is included. It has no cracks, chips, or repairs. There are a few small ancient spider webs inside the glass, but it is mostly clean. This is the rarer unit with the round knob, which turns and operates as it should when a penny is inserted. The door closes and locks but may require adjustment as it is a little stiff closing the last few millimeters. The key does not want to come out when the door is closed and locked. Please see photos for details. This is the actual item you’ll receive. Lots of photos show cosmetic condition. Nothing else is included.
