Nice solid vintage shape. Shows normal wear and age. Has scuffing and some minor paint loss. Plexiglass window has quite a bit of scuffing and does have a small crack as shown, but this crack is not through to the outside. Appears to be in working order. Could use a proper cleaning. Works as it should. All original except it was touched up in black (last photo) in a small area near the turning mechanism. 1 cent price point is made of thick paper, not a decal. Has wear as expected with age. Missing 1 foot, large scrape on the side, scratches to the plexiglass and other signs of wear. We sell a wide variety of used items. The casing is made of wood. The gum from the period is still intact. It has a metal lid and comes with a key. I don’t know if this is a specification, but when the key is closed, it cannot be removed. The operation has not been tested because we do not have a 1-cent coin on hand. Original Vintage 1950’s Victor Baby Grand 1¢ Coin Operated Gumball Machine. Totally original as found in old estate, not fooled with, not cleaned, 2 keys for base, none for top (but easily filled from front), unrestored. Appears to be oak wood with plastic bowl, and complete with no missing or broken parts that I could see. Stands about 11.5″ with a 6″ x 7 base. Nice find for the person that wants to restore one of these oldsters. Keys, locks and other parts are available. This has been setting out in a pantry shelf for many decades, it will need a good cleaning for starters. Also it does have some loose wood ply on the backside that need re-gluing(careful work it should be fine). Check the pictures and decide for yourself if this is something you can use.
