Diamond Match Company 1c Vending Machine. The Diamond Match Company Vending Machine made by Beaton & Cadwell Co of New Britain Con pat. Machine has a stamping on the front bottom saying American made matches. Machine works by placing a coin in the slot on the front and pinching the two knobs together. The front face display can be adjusted by the store owner and loaded with 1 to 4 books of matches for a penny. Instructions for machine operation are inside the cover. Machine does have some fading of the graphics which is not unusual for a machine that is over 100 years old. The machine is in working condition.

Presented for your consideration is this Antique Universal MATCH Dispenser Vending Machine. Included with this machine is it’s original carrying case. This machine dispenses free match books with a turn of the knob. The mechanism seems to operate properly. It is constructed with a thick glass cylinder. There are slots for advertising products and as each time a user would use this machine, the cylinder would rotate to another advertisement. As you can see someone put a paper advertisement in one of the slots. I ordered 4 custom signs for this machine as it’s part of my personal collection but, they never came. It does exhibit wear associated with age and use as it’s over 100 years old. Measures approximately 14″ tall x 9″ diameter. Really neat, really rare, piece that would make an excellent addition to any collection.

For sale is a really cool early Diamond Matches coin operated machine. This does have some scratches, scuffs and wear but overall it is a neat old piece. There is no key and this is untested. This dispenser is in Very Good condition. The dispenser works as it should. I put a penny in the machine and the machine dispensed a match book as it should. The dispenser is in Very Good cosmetic condition. The dispenser has a cast iron front. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs in the cast iron. The dispenser has a Quarter Sawn Oak wood case. The wood is in good condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The wood does show the normal signs of use with minor surface scratches and scuffs (please see pictures). The dispenser comes with its key. The key appears to be original but do not know for sure. The dispenser measures approx. 15″ tall by 9″ wide by 7 deep. This is an antique coin op 1 cent vending machine for match boxes. This says emco on the front, but I have not been able to find much information on it. The vending part spins without a coin in it but does not dispense without a coin. When you put the coin in it turns and dispenses like it should. I do not have a key for this unit and I believe it may have been mounted in a wooden box or something that I do not have. Antique NW Court Royal Cigar Match Vending Machine Coin Operated RARE VERSION. Early 1900 Northwestern match vendor with cigar cutter. Works on a penny, the clock has been serviced and is currently ticking. This machine has the very rare ornate Court Royal Cigar advertising front with dolphins and a Stewart & Clark Seth Thomas clock. Has been painted black many decades ago, I do see the original nickel plating underneath in areas.
