This is a two penny mechanism but it has a not often seen configuration. You stack the two pennies on top of each other as you place them in the coin slot. Most two-centers have side-by-side mechanisms. It has been repainted at some point but it was a good job. The color is as close to Northwestern Red as I’ve seen on a repaint. Usually, the color is more like fire engine red but this has the Northwestern orangy-red look to it. The gold painted textured lame pieces are in great shape. The speckled chrome mechanisms are also in good condition. It has a plastic square tapered globe. Comes with a Chicago Lock vintage key.
