The “Glasco” script logo style is most commonly seen on machines from the 1950s-early 1960s. The mechanical bottle rack system (no electronics, coin slide + bottle lift diagram) is typical of pre-1965 machines. The Illinois Department of Revenue decal is not original to the machine-those were applied yearly by operators, so it only tells us the machine was used in Illinois at some point, not when it was made.

The U-Select-It vintage candy vending machine from the 1950s is a classic piece of American nostalgia. Made in the United States, this original coin-operated machine offers a selection of candies for only 15 cents. With its timeless design and unique vending mechanism, this U-Select-It machine is sure to delight collectors and vintage enthusiasts alike. Perfect for adding a touch of retro charm to any arcade or collection. The crank still works as intended as shown in video. The door does not lock on its own. Also, I have not attempted coin use. This was for a display piece only. Great as is or would be great for a full restoration. This was made by the COAN MANUFACTURING CO. Out of Madison Wisconsin with serial number B8881. It stand 72″ tall and 12″x 12 at its base. It is a heavy piece of equipment.
